I was saddened to learn of Ashok uncle's passing. My Mom spoke with me about it this weekend and since then your family has been in my thoughts.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, I have been thinking of our trip to Half Dome. I think it is still my longest and hardest hike and it was so nice to experience it with Ashok uncle.
When I think about my interactions with Ashok uncle, I think of his attentiveness or focused interest - he never seemed like one to be distracted easily and could often be counted on to share his wisdom and intelligence. Thinking of him also brings to mind his heartfelt smile and genuine laugh, sure to spark smiles around him. He was a wonderful person to be around and I am very sorry for your loss.
